Wyoming cannabis testing requirements
Wyoming has no medical or adult-use cannabis program, so there are no state cannabis testing rules. A 2015 CBD registry for epilepsy was repealed in 2019. The Wyoming Department of Agriculture licenses hemp; its rules require THC testing of hemp lots and hemp product batches by a DEA-certified, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab. A 2024 law bars synthetic cannabinoids in hemp.

ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation
Not required. No cannabis lab program exists. For hemp, WDA Chapter 61 defines a Certified Laboratory as DEA-certified and ISO/IEC 17025-accredited for cannabinoid potency testing.
Notes
- The hemp extract registration card program (W.S. 35-7-1901 to 1903, 2015) was repealed by 2019 House Enrolled Act 110.
- 2024 Senate File 32 (Enrolled Act 24): no synthetic substances in hemp, and the 0.3% THC limit counts psychoactive isomers and analogs (e.g. delta-8), tested post-decarboxylation. In effect 1 July 2024.
- Hemp rules: WDA Chapter 61 (effective 23 May 2024). A WDA sampling agent samples each lot before harvest.
- Hemp processors must have every batch of hemp products tested for THC by a Certified Laboratory before sale (Chapter 61, Section 9).
- WDA's hemp plan was approved by the USDA on 20 February 2020.
