Not required. Idaho has no state cannabis testing program, so there is no lab accreditation requirement.
Notes
- Idaho Code §37-2705 lists marijuana and tetrahydrocannabinols in Schedule I, except the THC permitted in industrial hemp and FDA-approved drugs such as nabiximols and dronabinol.
- Hemp means Cannabis sativa L. with a total delta-9 THC concentration (THC plus THCA) of no more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis. It must be grown, processed or transported under a license issued under the federal farm bills or Idaho's approved state plan (Idaho Code §37-2701). That licensing concerns hemp crops, not cannabis products.
- Possessing more than three ounces of marijuana, including extracts containing THC, is a felony (Idaho Code §37-2732(e)); smaller amounts are misdemeanors.
